Hi guys!  I wanted to have a place to write down what I'm thinking about, and about our fun times together.  This blog is where I will do that.

I'm so glad to be your grandma!  Being Grandma Dolly is probably the funnest thing I do these days.  When I start this blog, on Saturday, January 2, 2016, I have five wonderful grandkids:  Calvin, Jack, Nikolai, Norah, and Miriam (oldest to youngest).  There are two more little darlings due this year:  Uncle Tim and Aunt Jessica will have George in February, and Aunt Melissa & Uncle Nate will have a (currently) unnamed little girl in April.  It's very possible that you will live in different places, far away from each other.  I hope you all grow up knowing and loving and appreciating each other.

This is Papa holding Calvin when he was brand new.
Papa didn't have a beard then!

Norah was pretty small.  She came earlier than expected and had to spend some time in the hospital until she was drinking enough milk on her own.

This was Norah a year later.  She was still pretty small, but she and her family came to New Mexico to visit me and Papa for Christmas.  We went to White Sands National Monument, where we took this picture.

This is Niko and Papa when Niko was about 4 months old.  Isn't it funny that even though he's very small, he still looks like Niko?

Miri our dearie with her father and brother, and with cousin Norah (I think Miri is about 3 months old here).

This is Jack when he was only 2 weeks old.  This is probably the last time anyone thought Jack was small!

Okay, my dears.  That's all for this first post.  I love you all so much!
